Voxalise

Voxalise is an experimental audio collection focused on gestural creation. Each piece was created in one session using Ableton. The pieces were minted as NFTs on the now defunct platform Mint Songs (RIP). It was a great practice on making art without overthinking, and using a mix of audio samples, midi clips, and my own compositions to create a unique soundscape.

Each piece of cover art was creating using a text-to-image AI. I entered a text prompt of the visuals and feelings I get from the audio to get the final image. Each AI image was placed into a CD cover for some consistency across the collection.

These AI images were all created in January 2022; it’s amazing how much AI image generation has changed since then!
